Ipod Touch Update
I purchased the long awaited iPhone OS 3.0 update today, it was a little clunky to buy it and slow to install, I haven’t seen my Ipod do a backup this slow since the first iPhone OS 2 update a year ago. I’m hoping its just a one of installation glitch and the backup process improves the the next sync. I don’t want to start waiting for the Next OS update to fix the slow backup like the last time
I will report back when I know for sure

I think the slow backup was caused by my ipod being nearly full, I deleted some of the rubbish and now the backup works as before. lol

I now have my iPhone.
When I got it, it was jailbroken 1.1.2 and unlocked, what a pain that was. I had to run the risk of bricking it by updating it to the latest update 3.0, luckily all went well, so I now own an iPhone 1st gen with firmware version 3, fully working.

The slow backup was just a one off glitch, if the iPhones memory was nearly full. I also had an major battery problem which was due to the wrong payandgo data settings See HERE An interactive iPhone help can be found HERE
