When I got it, it was jailbroken 1.1.2 and unlocked, what a pain that was. I had to run the risk of bricking it by updating it to the latest update 3.0, luckily all went well, so I now own an iPhone 1st gen with firmware version 3, fully working. YaY I now have my iPhone.
