An Evening at Skegness

Callum playing a go-cart racing sim at skeggy, We went for a fish and chip dinner and stayed to watch the Buttons Skeggy Beach Fireworks display.
It was am evening out, we don’t seem to get many of those 
Kite surfer in need of rescue

Today on the beach at Huttoft, Lincolnshire. A kite surfer needed to be rescued as he started to drift further and further up the coast and was unable to get himself closer to shore.
The incident start at about 12.30pm when the the unknown Kite surfer got into the water with an easterly wind. The first we saw of him was the kite well out to sea, further out than the jet skiers. At this time we thought he was just messing about couldn’t see that he was in any kind of trouble. About 15 -20 minutes passed and we just noticed him being pulled northward up the coast towards, Sutton on sea and Mablethorpe. That’s when we saw the RNLI Rescue boat speed down the coast and the distant sounds of the sirens of the coastguards emergency vehicles racing to the scene.
The RNLI did a great job getting him safely back to shore.
